Facial & Treatment Prep Guide
Your Golden Soul experience is customized to your skin. Following these simple guidelines before your appointment helps me safely choose the best products, techniques, and enhancements for you and helps your skin get the most from your treatment.
Step 1
24-48 Hours Before
Keep your routine simple + gentle.
Pause retinol/retinoids, exfoliating acids, scrubs, and other strong active products.
Skip at-home exfoliation—I’ll take care of that for you!
Avoid waxing, threading, or other hair-removal services on the treatment area.

(schedule at least 24 hours before your facial appointment)
Avoid excessive sun exposure and tanning.
Keep your skin hydrated with your normal gentle moisturizer and plenty of water.
Step 2
Day of Appointment
Come as you are, we’ll handle the rest.
Makeup-free skin is appreciated, but don’t stress if you’re coming straight from work or a day out. I’ll cleanse your skin thoroughly.
Continue your normal gentle skincare, but skip strong actives and exfoliants. (AHA, BHA, RETINOLS)
Wear something comfortable so you can fully relax. (You will change into a spa wrap)
Remove all jewelry and accessories
Please let me know about any new medications, allergies, sensitivities, pregnancy, recent procedures, or changes in your skin.
Have questions or concerns about your skin? Bring them! Your appointment is a judgment-free space.
Step 3
What to Avoid
Help me keep your skin happy + protected.
Avoid retinol, exfoliating acids, scrubs, or other potentially irritating treatments before your appointment.
Avoid tanning or arriving with severely sunburned or significantly irritated skin.
Avoid waxing or threading the same day as facial
Please don't pick, squeeze, or aggressively exfoliate breakouts beforehand.
If you have an active cold sore, contagious skin condition, open wound, or significant irritation, contact me before your appointment so we can determine whether your service should be adjusted or rescheduled.
